Common questions.
Pricing, turnaround, travel, licensing, deposits, gear, weddings, bundles. The fifteen questions that come up the most, answered the way they actually need to be answered.
What does brand photography cost?
Brand photography sessions start at 597 dollars for a half day with 25 edited images and 5 headshots. A full day campaign with 50 plus edited images and video b-roll is 1,497 dollars. Pricing reflects the actual time on location plus the editorial post production work that turns raw frames into brand assets sized and color graded for the channels you actually use.
How much does a headshot session cost?
An editorial headshot session is 197 dollars. It includes one hour on location or in studio, one outfit with two background options, and five fully edited final images delivered within 5 business days. Add a second outfit and second background for an additional 75 dollars.
How much does real estate photography cost?
Real estate photography is 297 dollars for properties up to 2,500 square feet, 397 dollars for properties up to 5,000 square feet, and 497 dollars for estate level properties with unlimited square footage. Drone exterior photography is an additional 75 dollars. Twilight exterior photography is an additional 125 dollars.
How fast do I receive my photos?
Headshot sessions deliver finals within 5 business days. Brand and event galleries deliver within 10 business days. Real estate galleries deliver within 48 hours. Rush delivery is available for an added fee of 25 percent of the session price.
Do you travel for shoots?
Yes. ThatPhotoGuy is based in Cassville, Missouri and shoots throughout Southwest Missouri, Northwest Arkansas, Branson, and Springfield without travel fees. Travel fees apply outside that radius based on distance and overnight requirements. Larger commercial campaigns can include nationwide travel, billed at cost.
What areas do you serve?
The standard service area includes Cassville, Branson, Springfield, Joplin, Bentonville, Rogers, Fayetteville, Eureka Springs, and surrounding communities in Southwest Missouri and Northwest Arkansas. Larger commercial campaigns include nationwide travel billed at cost. Remote brand consulting is available worldwide.
Can you build the website that goes with the photos?
Yes. ThatPhotoGuy is part of the same studio that operates ThatDeveloperGuy.com. Combined brand photography and website builds are available as a bundled package. The visual identity, web design, and brand voice all come from one studio, which keeps the system cohesive and the bundle price beats hiring a photographer and a web developer separately.
What deposit is required?
A 50 percent deposit is required to lock the date. The remaining balance is invoiced at delivery. For sessions under 500 dollars, payment in full at booking is also accepted. Payment is accepted via credit card, Zelle, Venmo, and Cash App.
Do I get the raw files?
No. The deliverable is the edited final images. Raw files are not part of the standard delivery, the same way that a published article from a magazine does not come with the photographer's contact sheet. Raw file licensing is available for an additional fee on a project basis.
What licensing comes with the photos?
Personal subjects receive full personal use rights for sharing, printing, and family use. Business subjects receive standard commercial use rights for the photographed business including web, social media, print marketing, email, and trade show display. Extended usage like out of home advertising, paid social ad spend over 10,000 dollars annually, or stock licensing is quoted separately.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes. Reschedules are free with at least 7 days notice. Cancellations more than 14 days out receive a full refund. Cancellations within 14 days forfeit the deposit. Weather reschedules for outdoor shoots are always free regardless of timing.
Are you a veteran owned business?
Yes. ThatPhotoGuy operates as part of a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) certified through SAM.gov. The studio supports veteran focused organizations and offers veteran client discounts of 10 percent on all packages. Founder Joseph W. Anady served with 7th Special Forces Group attached to 5/4 Cav.
What gear do you use?
Professional full frame mirrorless cameras and a kit of prime and zoom lenses suited to the job. Continuous and strobe lighting available for studio work. Drone for exterior real estate. The gear list is published on request, but the more honest answer is that the photographer matters more than the gear. The lens has been pretty much settled since 1839.
Do you do weddings?
Yes. Wedding day coverage is 1,497 dollars for six hours and 1,997 dollars for eight hours with a second shooter. Engagement sessions are bookable separately at the portrait rate of 497 dollars. Bridal portraits, getting ready coverage, and reception coverage are all included in the wedding day package.
How do I book?
Submit the inquiry form on the contact page. A 20 minute discovery call is scheduled within one business day. After the call, a shot list and contract are delivered within 48 hours. Once approved, the date is locked and a deposit is invoiced.
